An ordinary life in an extra-ordinary place
All in all, it’s just another Russian spam in The Wall
The more observant amongst you (not you, Jock) will notice that The Wall in the sidebar has gone. It was never used much, and the majority of usage was swinging towards what I assume was Russian spam.
The wonders of Gmail and WordPress spam filters means that I rarely have to deal with the daily avalanche of bollocks that descends upon this site and my email accounts; it is automatically shovelled into the place of digital death. So I have little tolerance for deleting spam messages which appear in places that are not automatically filtered, like The Wall.
So, it is gone. R.I.P.

Wall eh? What wall? Last time I saw a wall I wish I had eyes in the back of my head. I slipped on some ice outside the Argo (pick-up-joint in Aberdeen … except I didn’t … as usual) … result an 03:30AM visit to Aberdeen A&E for some stitches (no additional anaesthetic required) and a resultant bald patch that I have carried for the last 30 years in an otherwise fine head of hair .. though nowhere as impressive as Spike’s fine head of hair … or is that now head of fine hair Spike ?

Congratulations on the anti-thingy software – composing an abusive reply from Comrade Boris and converting it to Russian was to no avail and this despite trying a number of subtle variations

Those Country Bubbles and scrolling visitors whatsit currently consume a whole core via Opera, plus they managed to overheat the MBP (via firefox) and cause it to literally black-out. Mental.
