She who must be obeyed’s obsession with Facebook poker continues. Over many hours of play she noticed that the cute girls (or rather, players who used photos of cute girls) would be given free chips by other players; usually hairy men from Turkey and Albania.

Personally, I find she who must be obeyed scores very highly in the cute stakes; but she was not being showered with chips by hairy men. So she did the obvious thing and set up a new player with a cute girl photo she found on the wide wide world of web.

Good wheeze, I thought, and did the same; except the photo I chose was MUCH cuter. Or so I thought.

With our new personalities, we launched our combined cuteness into the Facebook poker rooms.

She who must be obeyed found early success. A man with endless chips who was prepared to sell them to her for $1 a million (normal price, at least $5 a million). Because she looked cute; even though she could easily have been a strapping welder from Wallsend with an obsession for recreational chemicals.

And then, the ultimate sugar daddy; an idiot who insisted on giving her 130 million chips, for free! Based on a photo and some entirely trivial chat in the poker room (trust me, I keep an eye on these things). It’s an interesting insight into the male mind, the stupid things we (by “we”, I mean other people, not me of course) will do for a pretty face.

Meanwhile, I was having less success. As soon as I entered a table, at least one of the males present wanted to be my poker buddy. When I won a hand, people would congratulate me. This was a pleasant change from the usual “why don’t you go and fuck yourself with a sledgehammer” style of abuse I would receive when winning a hand as a man. But no chips. Nobody considered me cute enough to lavish me with gifts of chips.

She who must be obeyed was not surprised. Se was adamant that I had chosen the wrong picture. “You find her cute, but others won’t”, she insisted. “You have a strange idea of beauty”.
“Obviously, since I married you”, was my obvious response. Then I ran.

So, what do you think?

If you had 130 million poker chips to give away, which would you chose?
