An ordinary life in an extra-ordinary place
The Waterfront – It’s all go!
Almost a year since I reported on the exciting development known as The Waterfront.
Since then, nothing has happened. The promised removal of the smelly boats hasn’t happened. The construction of the adjacent marina hasn’t happened. Most importantly for those who put down deposits on The Waterfront, there has been no construction.
But wait!! I passed there today and a new and exciting sign was hanging outside the entrance.
Good news indeed! A peek inside the entrance and the true extent of the endeavour could be seen, most impressive.
The Waterfront is scheduled for completion in June 2011. With the amount of resources now being dedicated to the project, how can they fail?

We have a client who invested in The Waterfront project and has a break clause in his contract if construction is behind. He is legally due a refund and yet the developer will not refund his money.
He has now launched legal action and has huge financial resources in Europe. He informs us that the backer Elran Group from Israel is also in financial trouble. We advise that you steer well clear of this one!

Mr. Dobbs writes to us from:
http://www.emergingtiger.com
His initial comments on The Waterfront were “Thai-property Investments believe in this project so much we were amongst the first to invest our own money in securing units.”
I suspect that the “client who invested in The Waterfront project” was none other than a member of emergingtiger.com.
Still, take a look at all the other excellent projects on offer……

Thanks to PattayaDays for this warning. I was about to invest Grandma’s life savings in this promising project. Instead I will buy one gogo bar or two.

I don’t like having all my eggs in one basket. I’ll buy some chemicals from the American embassy instead and turn paper into banknotes.
