An orange glow end to the day
I used to hate Mondays; now I rather like them. First thing I do is head for the computer and start downloading the previous night’s Top Gear. Then breakfast and coffee, a bit of messing around on-line, and then I sit back and enjoy the show before heading out for lunch.
Today was extra pleasant because I managed a bit of windsurfing in the afternoon before the wind became too strong for the large sail I was using. Came in and changed to a smaller sail which was also too large by the time I got out on the water. Good exercise though.
A fine sunset at the end of the day. Ideally there should have been a three masted schooner on the skyline, carrying exotic herbs from the Orient. But as I already live in the Orient, and she who must be obeyed already has a cupboard full of exotic herbs, instead there was something a little more industrial on the skyline, probably heading for port with exotic chemical waste from Europe.

Its well worth investing in specific rigs for strong and light winds, especially if you already have the sails.

We don’t have Tariffa wind, so I have a 9.0, a 7.5 and a 6.0 all rigged and ready to go. But having knackered myself on the 9.0 and then the 7.5, I didn’t have the energy to take out the 6.0, which would have been perfect for the conditions.
I suppose you have been out on a 3.o today….

Not been out yet as I only just arrived and my gears still in storage, the wind is lowsy and not forecast to be any better the next couple of days.

Most of the time its around 4.5 up to 6.5, but there are ‘those’ days!

Spike, you seem to be very tired from your windsurfing activities. Your excellent blog is normally a haven of correct English spelling, punctuation and grammar. Today we have, however, not enough capital letters in the first paragraph, and not enough o’s in the second. It’s probably the stress from having so much fun AND trying to keep your reader entertained at the same time.
You’re going to edit the post now like you did with the ‘acronym’ bit in FSC1, aren’t you?

Totally agree with Pete and, surprise, surprise, almost agree with genuinej! …. it’s the “lads” thing that gets to me rather than the speeding though there is no doubt the latter can ruin your day .. as you can no doubt testify from recent experience Spike ….

Billy; did you notice that the post was sneakily edited. No more capital letters were added in the first paragraph, but the punctuation was changed. There was an extra ‘o’ added in the second paragraph though.

Citroen is an anagram for drives a pile of crap so not interested in performance car related television. Just a few extra letters added.
