A bit of a collection
The inaugural meeting of the “my condo micro four-thirds owners group” was held this morning. The meeting concluded that we still had space in a photograph for some more lenses and Mr. Ebay will be consulted accordingly.
Those with a passing interest will note that, nestling next to Nik’s red GF1, is a brand new Panasonic GH2. Photographers in America are spontaneously combusting in their attempts to acquire one of these new machines; but Nik has contacts in Hong Kong and got his yesterday. Being an exceedingly nice chap, he handed it over to me this morning to play with. Some sort of review will follow; you have been warned.

I like the jumbled nature of the picture, lens and camera in the background at an angle. Please not another review. I can’t afford it, or rather I am running out of justifications.

The Panasonic’s classic looks might mean you could combine the best of both worlds … by allowing you to own a four-thirds and, with a suitably impressive lens, allow you to charge big bucks for taking photographs at posh Indian weddings …. just a thought …

Camberley, the jumbled nature was of course an artistic decision and nothing to do with the cats disturbing the arrangement. Perhaps you deserve a “cheer me up after my house was flooded” present?
Ray, I realise this is as nothing compared to your museum of lenses and cameras; but we have to start somewhere.
Billy, by “classic” I assume you mean it looks like every other piece of mundane gear churned out by the likes of Canon and Nikon; which is one of the reasons I don’t want one.

Under article 16, sub-section 2, fruits of the loin of primary members are entitled to full benefits of membership; provided they bring some tasty lenses along for Dad to play with.
